2-Year Health Guarantee

What We Guarantee

For two full years from your puppy's date of birth, we guarantee against debilitating, life-threatening genetic defects. If a veterinarian diagnoses your puppy with a covered hereditary condition during this period, we will replace the puppy with one of equal value from a future or available litter, at no additional cost.

What Is Covered

• Severe hip and elbow dysplasia (graded by OFA)
• Genetic cardiac defects
• Inherited eye conditions causing blindness
• Congenital structural defects discovered within the warranty period

Owner Responsibilities

To honor the guarantee, the owner agrees to:

• Maintain a high-quality, large-breed-appropriate diet
• Schedule annual veterinary check-ups
• Avoid over-exercise during the puppy's growth phase (under 18 months)
• Keep the puppy at a healthy weight (avoiding obesity)
• Keep current on age-appropriate vaccinations and parasite prevention

Pre-Delivery Health Check

Every puppy receives a full health examination by a licensed veterinarian before going home. This includes:

• Physical examination of heart, lungs, eyes, ears, joints
• Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
• Microchip placement
• Fecal screening
• Written health certificate

Our Breeding Health Program

Every breeding parent at Castle Corsos is health-tested for the conditions known to affect Cane Corsos. We screen for hip and elbow dysplasia (OFA), cardiac health (cardiologist evaluation), and genetic markers via DNA panel. We will never breed a dog with significant health concerns. This is the foundation of why our puppies live longer, healthier lives.
